Previously on my websites, I used plugins to provide link tracking statistics. This worked well for a long time, but I wanted to create a standalone service that allowed me to obtain those same statistics while also providing far more functionality including applying advertising to links, expiring temporary information and possibly even opening up the doors for public use. LFL.ink is a domain hack for LF Link[s] and it fits well with the overall theming of everything in my network of sites. Doing this will keep everything under one roof and make it easier for me to keep tabs on all outgoing links.
At this point, I'm only using this service privately, but depending on how things go, I may make it available to all as a free service.
